He could not have found anyone better.

Inspired by Anna, here is my shot at Nano fiction.

The call was to catch up on my best friends life, after a long time. We talk about school, cars and that girl he could not stop raving about, five years ago. “You wanna go meet her?” I ask him and he says “Why don’t you fly here, you could catch up with us.”

Let me know what you think.

Barath - Nice work using \[EDITED]

I think however that it will not be possible for karthik to enumerate what will be \[EDITED] because if I those again will be \[EDITED] before they get posted :-)

Needless to say, his post will look like this.

    [EDITED] - \[EDITED]
    [EDITED] - \[EDITED]
    ...
But honestly whatever happened to freedom of blogging. Who does Karthik think he is - The FCC?

    mother \[EDITED]er!! :-)

    There I blogged it.

    Dushy,

Before Barath replies, I'll paste this:

"voor'la ellarum Mapplai saar Nu koopadreenga, aana orutharum ponnu kodukka maatengareenga :(

    lv
    barath"
  • Man,

You guys are a riot. Mapplai, to add to your satement, "Palapazhatha solaioda saapadanum".
  • Dushyanth
    Barath. Mappilai!! How are you?
  • Dushyanth
    [EDITED] - The new bleep!!!

Maybe you should file for a patent.
  • ok the truth is, I was not sure of that until your "Appan pudarkul illai" \[EDITED]'ing.

You have to write a blog on whats allowed and what will be \[EDITED] in this blog for the benefit of your readers.

You will agree that it is better to say "do not wear dark shirts" and then "harass" ;)

Prabhu, don't worry da, he won't \[EDITED] all stuff.

    p.s:
the '\' is an escape character to differentiate from the admin's \[EDITED]'ing. ok, ok. I stole it from the C's and C++'s
  • [EDITED]

This comment was out of context and I changed my mind.
  • Prabhu
    Barath,

    Good One:)

I want to type a lot and I know its not gonna get thru the Admin filter, instead I will just type
[Edited][Edited].....[Edited] and then there was [Edited][Edited] and so on ..

    -Prabhu

(I typed the text [Edited], Karthik did not edit it
    :-))
  • Allrite allrite, you know who it is. What do you want me to do now ?
  • ok.. "possible best-friends list".. say You have a specific list A, of friends (Lets say I know them too). If I take a stab at filtering the list to get a List B, who may possibly be your best-friend. In that List B, I see so many 'thillalangadies' who could have replied “Why don’t you fly here, you could catch up with us.”

maybe I shld have just said "Hmmmmmmmmmm.." like Prathima did. That explains it all ;)
  • "Considering your possible best-friends list, is this a real life incident?"

My possible best friends list ? Whats that supposed to mean ?

And no this is not a real life incident. It is an extrapulation of a real life incident. Fiction as I like to call it.
  • Karthik, very good one. Considering your possible best-friends list, is this a real life incident?

Prabhu, aaranju pazhatha vuruchu dhaan saapadnam..

    Dei,

I hope you didnt understand it as CompSci department ex-lecturer Sujatha!

No, it was in Tamil. In any case, I dont think Sujatha would have any problems writing it in English.

We had a chapter called "Lady or the Tiger" in our 10th CBSE English book, where the climax was left to the interpretation of the reader. These short stories in Vikatan were more of that kind. They were just a page (or 2) long.
They didnt have the conventional starts/ends like all other stories/novels. I heard it became really popular with the regular AV readers.

    -Prabhu
  • Dushy: K

Prabhu: Did you forget the fact that I can't really read tamil ? And don't tell me Sujatha wrote in English.

Shawty: Thanks for the comment and you did it again.
  • awwww! LOVE it. the best 55s have that little twist at the end and this one is pure sweetness. here's hoping you have another to delight us with, next week.
  • Prabhu
I think Sujatha wrote a lot of stories of this genre in Vikatan few years back.

    It was really interesting.
  • Dushyanth
    Heres my nano comment. Ok.
