Kaun Banega Ramayan Expert?

The Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh is launching a contest for Kids. The prize money is an amazing $10,000.

Indian-origin children are all set to ride the ‘hot seat’ as a new contest Kaun Banega Ramayan Expert opens in the United States, aimed at instilling moral values and a sense of Indian heritage among youngsters.

The quiz, launched by the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh in the US, is an effort to increase awareness about the great epic among Indian-American children and will carry a prize of $10,000, the HSS said.

As children prepare for the quiz, it would help them inculcate moral values portrayed in the Ramayana such as brotherly love, devotion, sacrifice, valour and personal integrity which are very relevant to modern times, it added.

Only if I had watched Ramayana on TV when I was a kid. The only thing I can remember is the funky special effects.
