The “Love and Marriage” Edition

Smart and amazingly cute eyes. My friends gave me hi-5’s.

The dinner was a lot of fun,
Then I knew; she was the one.

A year later I was ready.
A house and a job that paid steady.

So the question I finally popped.
“I am not sure my husband would like that” she dropped.

And yes, it’s one of those old-time jokes that I decided to reinvent.
