A few more words of praise from Sir Frank Williams

Sir Frank Williams had a few good words to say about Narain Karthikeyan when he appointed him as the second test driver for WillliamsF1 earlier this year.

Now that Narain has spent a lot of time in the cockpit, Sir Frank Williams has added a few more positive comments in a video conference with Indian journalists.

He has become much more consistent and is delivering very, very high quality and most useful testing miles for us.
The chances of Narain being in the team next year are not very high, but by no means impossible.

But we also hope that by Narain doing the testing he does, interest will awaken again in other teams and if another team wants to use Narain in racing we will not stand in his way.

We’ve found out for ourselves in the testing which we have done with Narain that he is very quick, We also found him to be a little bit erratic.

What we have seen since he began with us is that he has become much more consistent.

What’s new here ?

We always knew that Narain had talent and was a little erratic, but this statement adds a lot of credibility to “The Fastest Indian”.

Narain had a big public fallout with Collin Kolles the team manager of the then Midland Toyota and now MF1 Racing. Although the media did not pay too much attention to the issue, it hurt the credibility of Narain. With the current praise from Sir Williams, he will be looked at by other teams in the near future.
