King of Cars is a reality show on A&E capturing the everyday moments at Towbin Dodge, a Las Vegas car dealership.A recent CNN article talks about how Joshua Towbin became the “King Of Cars”. The wacky infomercial created enough buzz to get him a show on A&E.

Prem Singh from Malaysia is one of Chop’s stars. He paints his face blue, drives up, gets out, and says in accented English: “Hello, I am Sexy Blue Genie.” He chats with Chop, does a silly little dance — and then Chop starts chopping.

Aptly the final episode of the first season is called Closing the Deal. The episode blurb on A&E says

As the most recognized character in Chop’s infomercial, Prem, AKA the Blue Genie, has no trouble meeting women, but out of costume he is too shy to ask them out. His inability to “close the deal” with the ladies is also impacting his sales performance, so Chop takes on the task of helping his friend find the right woman, and hopefully sell a car as well.

I watched a couple of episodes to get a feel for the show. The guys at Towbin Dodge are hoot. Always having fun, but still doing the job. Joshua and the other employees try hard to set Prem up. A co-workers friend promises him to take his number, but quickly disappears. He takes it in his stride and hits on someone from another dealership and finally thorough the infomercial, the guys find him a date.

A caption towards the end of the episode confirms that “The Blue Genie is still single”.

I hear you brother. Its a tough world out there and I am not sure that women (or for that matter even men) are into Genies. You might want to try a change of costume.

If you are into Malaysian/ Punjabi guys, here is your chance ladies. The guy can cook and has a steady job, just get him out of the costume. Besides, he is a Celebrity of sorts.
